How We Operate

Physical Edge is a gym and home based operation. As a team we predominately work out of Justworkout in Forrest Hill on the North Shore of Auckland. This is a fully kitted out two level gym of cardio and weight training equipment. If you prefer to train within a gym then we can organize membership options for you.

The gym may not be your scene so we can cater for you also by coming to your place or meeting at a location that suits you such as a local park or beach. We will bring all of the necessary training equipment and set it up to give you a fantastic workout.

Once we have been contacted we will organize a time with you to sit down and talk about your goals and ambitions. This is a very important stage for both you as a client and us as trainers. Firstly we will go through with you something called an assessment form. This form allows us to take down as much information about you as possible in regards to your training goals and what you would like to achieve.

The Second part of your assessment focuses on your medical history, family history and lifestyle factors that could impact on your training. We will then ask you about your nutrition habits and gather information to be used to form part of your nutrition plan.

The next phase of your assessment will include measuring your girths and getting your weight. Everyone has to start somewhere and it’s good to know where you have been and the progress you will be making along the way.

The final phase of your assessment will include a workout based around your training goals. Your trainer will then assess all of your information and design up a cardio program and a nutrition program to compliment your training and to make sure that you maximize your chances of success. A re measure, cardio plan and nutrition plan is discussed and completed for you on a monthly basis.
