I had always been an active person but for various reasons life changed and I began a slow downward spiral of not looking after myself. In order to change all that, I joined the gym. This is where Jo and Kerry step in. Through their care, knowledge and support I have lost weight and gained self confidence. Both Jo and Kerry have supported me to achieve goals I thought were out of reach – completing a quarter marathon and competing in two bodybuilding competitions. They are two of the most inspirational and positive people I know.
Their motto Inspire, Motivate, Change did it for me.

In February 2006 two of my sons started training with Kerry, while I started training with Jo. When Jo went on maternity leave I then started training with Kerry as well. Over the years that we have all trained with Kerry his positive attitude and absolute determination have help us achieve results in weight loss, strength and fitness that none of us had previously thought possible. Since that life changing decision two more of my sons have begun training with Kerry and both are already reaping the rewards. Kerry’s willingness to train my boys and I at home has definitely been a factor in motivating all of us and making it easier to fit the gym into the day. Between the family we have lost an amazing 75 kilos and with Kerry’s continued support and commitment our household has become a much healthier environment. At the end of this year the family is taking part in the Auckland quarter marathon, which wouldn’t even be possible without Kerry.

I commenced training with Jo in February 2006 after the birth of my first child. Having tried the gym several times over many years and ending up supporting them financially with absolutely no benefit to myself, (ie I never went!) I finally decided that a personal trainer was the only way I was going to enforce any sort of exercise regime in my life. And what can I say, except I have not looked back…. Jo has been amazing both as an incredible trainer getting results from my body I never thought possible, and as a motivator to the point that now I look forward to our sessions, something I thought I would never do!!!
I have been with Jo now for nearly 3 and a half years, during which time I have had a second baby. Thus Jo has trained me both pre, during and post pregnancy. Infact, I was training right up until 3 days before my son was born. At no time during my pregnancy did I feel at risk. Jo has the ability to know exactly what my body can and cannot cope with. One of her traits that make’s her so good at what she does. I am sure I can also credit my swift recovery from pregnancy to the training Jo gave me.
I can highly recommend Jo to any one no matter what their goals may be. She is not only a fantastic trainer who gets results, but a motivator and life coach too.

Jo has been my personal trainer for more than a year. She has an infectious enthusiasm that makes each training session enjoyable. Thanks to Jo’s efforts I have achieved my personal goals of greater strength, increased cardiovascular fitness and ultimately weight control.
My decision to become pregnant meant a change in my training was required. Jo’s knowledge of appropriate pre and postnatal exercise allowed her to adapt my workouts so that I could train through my entire pregnancy and following a caesarean delivery.
